Pilates is a full body workout designed to strengthen the core, elongate the spine, improve posture and create long lean toned muscle rather than a bulky silhouette.
Pilates assists in focusing the mind, relax the nervous system, while building strength, rebalancing and re-aligning the muscular system. It will complement any sports training by developing functional movement through encouraging flexibility, control, strength and balance. Assisting in rehabilitation from an injury or alleviating chronic back pain is another facet of this nurturing physical practice.
In our studio, you’ll join small group sessions that are designed to be fun and lighthearted. Our goal is for Pilates to be accessible to everybody regardless of fitness level, body type, age or gender. We recommend regular practice to see and feel the benefits of Pilates.
Classes
All classes are small group classes and run with a maximum of 4 clients. The classes are tailored to the individual and open to all levels. If you’re new to Pilates, it is recommended that you have at least three 1:1 sessions to learn the basics of Pilates before entering a group class.
